PRICING FAQ

When am I charged credits?
+
Credits are deducted hourly for compute (while your instance is running) and once for setup costs (initial setup + channels).
What happens when I run out of credits?
+
When your balance can't cover the next hour, your instance is stopped and its Mac is released. The Mac's data is deleted and can't be recovered. Your unspent credits stay on your account. To carry on, top up and deploy a new instance. Back up anything you need before your balance runs low: the credits page in your dashboard shows your hourly spend and roughly how long your balance will last.
Can I stop my instance to save credits?
+
Yes. You can stop instances anytime from the dashboard. Compute is only charged while an instance is running.
Do credits expire?
+
No. Credits never expire. Buy once, use whenever you need.
Can I get a refund?
+
Yes. Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. After that they stay in your balance and never expire. Duplicate charges, failed top-ups and extended outages are refunded as set out in our Refund Policy.
